One Hour Fire Protection for Steel Buildings

Steelmaster 600WF and Steelmaster 60SB intumescent paints for structural steel sections provide fire resistance for upto 60 minutes in the event of exposure to cellulosic fire. They will react to the heat from a fire, expanding to form a protective char layer, insulating the steel structures from the intense heat to allow all personnel and animals to escape to safety.

Steelmaster 600WF is the ultimate product for fire protection in this category providing 90 minutes fire protection, offering an economic fire protection solution, with high coverage rates and significantly lower product consumption than other intumescent paints in this sector. Steelmaster 600WF intumescent paint is a low odour, environmentally compliant coating CE marked by the European Technical Assessment ETA-19/0005.

Steelmaster 600WF is quality guaranteed by Exova Warrington Fire Research meeting the requirements of BS476 part 20/21, ASTM E84 and EN 13381-8. Reaction to Fire Class B-s1, d0 (EN 13501-1).

Steelmaster 600WF is a single pack, high solids , waterbourne thin film intumescent paint suitable for structural steel, beams and columns exposed to cellulosic fire for up to 90 minutes fire protection. Designed for performance and minimum environmental impact, with high coverage rates and lower product  consumption.

Steelmaster 600WF is applied onto carbon steel primed with approved primers such as Pilot QD and Penguard Express. It is suitable as a finish coat internally or externally up to corrosivity category C3 (ISO 12944-2). Steelmaster 600WF may be overcoated with any approved topcoat such as Pioner Topcoat or Hardtop CA, both are available in a wide range of RAL, NCS or British Standard colours.

Two to Three Hour Fire Protection for Steel Buildings

Steelmaster 1200WF and Steelmaster 120SB intumescent paints protect structural steel sections for two hours fire protection, in the event of exposure to cellulosic fire. They will react to the heat from a fire, expanding to form a protective char layer insulating the steel structures from the intense heat, to allow all personnel and animals to escape to safety.

Steelmaster 1200WF is designed for maximum performance and minimum environmental impact, with less product required to protect structural steel requiring 3 hours fire protection. It is also recommended for hollow sections subject to rapid heat up and provides fire resistance for up to 3 hours in the event of exposure to cellulosic fire.

Steelmaster 1200WF is the most efficient thin film water based intumescent coating, it is a low odour, environmentally compliant coating and contributes to the Green Buildings Standard Credits, it is CE marked product with European Technical Assessment ETA-18/0890.
