Teamac Antifouling D Plus for Ultimate Strength
Teamac Antifouling D Plus is a the ultimate strength high performance system with up to 2 Years Protection in the most challenging locations. It is based on copper oxide and boosted with co-biocides for ultimate strength. Suitable for yachts, cruisers, barges and commercial vessels with a a maximum speed of 25 to 30 knots. The expected functional life of the coating is 18 to 24 months in the most challenging fouling locations to maximise your time on the water. This coating is used as an antifouling for the underwater areas of marine vessels or underwater structures, suitable for domestic and commercial vessels with steel, wood or GRP hulls. It can be applied onto most existing coatings, use Metaclor Antifouling Primer as a Tie Coat. It is available in 2.5lt and 5lt pack sizes in a range of stock colours for free delivery throughout the UK to your home, workshop or boatyard.

Teamac Antifouling D Plus is a modified composition containing a high level of cuprous oxide to give the ultimate antifouling performance in the most challenging environments. It is designed for vessels with a max speed of 25 to 30 knots in the most challenging of fouling locations. The expected functional life of the coating is 18 to 24 months.
It is used as an antifouling for the underwater areas of marine vessels or underwater structures. It is suitable for domestic and commercial vessels with steel, wood or GRP hulls. It should not be used on aluminium vessels, where Teamac Antifouling A Plus is preferred.
Based on copper oxide boosted with co-biocides for ultimate strength, it is suitable for yachts, cruisers, barges and commercial vessels. It is compatible with the vast majority of alternate antifouling paints.
Teamac Antifouling D Plus can be applied by a brush, roller or airless spray with a minimum overcoating time of 16 hours. The recommended wet film thickness is 100 microns to achieve a dry film thickness of 60 microns. The theoretical coverage rate by following these recommendations is 10 sq.m per litre, please ensure appropriate loss factors when calculating your actual requirements.
It will be touch dry in 3 hours at a temperature of 20°C. Two coats will be required for optimum performance. Your vessel can be launched after a minimum of 8 hours once the coating is hard.
This product comes in 2.5lt pack sizes in red, black, green, blue and light grey colours. All colours are in a semi-gloss finish. Delivery is free throughout the UK to your home, workshop or boatyard.
