Bradite Floor-IT is compatible with most paints including polyurethane, epoxy and chlorinated rubber. Compatability with existing coatings should be confirmed by preparing and painting a test patch. It is ideal for previously painted surfaces and suitably prepared concrete, wood, steel, tarmac and asphalt floors.
Bradite Floor-IT is easy to apply by brush roller or spray with minimal disruption , touch dry in 30 minutes and recoatable in one hour. Two coats may be necessary to achieve full protection of the surface. For application on absorbent substrates a sealer coat should be roller applied thinned 5-10% with water to improve penetration and adhesion to the substrate.
Carbon steel: Min St2 (ISO 8501-1).
Concrete: Surface to be clean and dry, free from laitance, oil grease and other contaminants. Non porous or shiny concrete to be vacuum blast cleaned.
Painted surfaces: High pressure water jetting to remove all loose and flaking paint back to a sound substrate. Surface to be free from oil grease and other contaminants.
