Bradite Floor Primer

£105.00

A high performance two pack water based floor primer for power floated concrete and other absorbent smooth floor surfaces.

Bradite Floor Primer is easy to apply and is available for free next day delivery.

Bradite Floor Primer is for power floated concrete, quarry tiles and other absorbent smooth floor surfaces which may require a penetrating primer to improve adhesion of subsequent coatings. Excellent as a floor primer in a system for resistance to abrasion, fork lift traffic and high wear in public places. A low odour floor coating ideal for hygiene sensitive areas, hospitals, food and beverage processing plants.

Application information for this product includes using a brush or a roller to apply the Floor Primer to smooth substrates. Applying this on new or uncoated concrete enables the penetration and binding of the substrate.

Subsequent coats will be dependant upon the desired Bradite floor coating system. Bradite Floor Primer may be slightly tacky underfoot when applying finishing system.

New concrete should be allowed to dry for at least 28 days prior to painting. Moisture content of floor can be checked by placing a secured sheet of plastic on the floor for 24 hours and then examining for any signs of condensation. If condensation appears, then this indicates that the concrete is not sufficiently dry to allow painting.

Any existing coatings on the surface must be completely removed before painting. For the best performance, it’s recommended that you complete vacuum blast cleaning of the substrate and make sure the surface is clean and dry by washing and scrubbing to remove any grease, oil and any other contaminants.

Bradite Floor Primer has a minimum shelf life of 12 months in original unopened containers.

Pre-measured base and activator tins are ready mixed together in house before being shipped out to you.
