Jotun Conseal TU a fast air drying high build acrylic primer finish for Steel, Masonry, Galvanised steel and Wood. It is a high solids high build exterior durable matt finish. A multisurface high build primer finish with very good colour retention and corrosion resistance in an exterior environment. It is very fast drying and easy to apply. Conseal TU is high build finish ideal as a one coat matt primer finish on large steel fabrications, cladding, containers, skips, garage doors, modular buildings, silos and large industrial equipment. It is fire approved as a topcoat on Steelmaster Intumescent paints, applied by brush , roller or spray. Available in a wide range of RAL and British standard colours in a matt finish for free delivery throughout the UK.

Surface Preparation.
Carbon Steel: Minimum St 2 , Recommended Abrasive blast clean to Sa 2.5. (ISO 8501-1)
Coated Surfaces: Ensure the existing coat is intact, compatible, dry and free from oil grease and other contaminants.
Galvanised Steel: As a minimum the surface shall be clean dry and have a rough dull profile. It is recommended to lightly sweep blast using non metallic abrasives leaving a clean, rough dull surface.
Concrete: Mechanically abrade to remove loosely adhering material and laitance. Alternatively low pressure water washing to a rough , clean and laitance free surface. Moisture content at painting max 5%.

A single pack, high solids, high build, fast air drying acrylic primer finish with a matt finish. It can be applied on multisurfaces direct to metal, galvanised steel, aluminium, other non metallic substrates as a one coat primer finish. Suitable for application at sub zero surface temperatures by Airless spray, Conventional spray, brush or roller.
Conseal TU Primer Finish is a single product solution for steel containers, modular buildings, construction equipment, cladding and building products. It provides excellent adhesion to multisurfaces including ferrous and non ferrous metals, plastic, concrete and wood.
A direct to metal primer finish it may be used on steel when abrasive blast cleaning is not possible. It may also be applied over zinc phosphate primers (Pilot QD) and most aged coatings.

Conseal TU can be applied up to 120 microns in a single coat by airless spray, two coats may be required to achieve the recommended DFT by brush or roller. It is resistant to continuous temperatures of up to 60°C
