Jotun Epoxy HR a two pack epoxy phenolic heat resistant primer finish withstanding up to 200c, it may be applied on hot steel up to 150c. It can be applied onto carbon steel, aluminium, galvanised and stainless steel. It is prequalified to Norsok System M-501 system 6 and is an ideal heat resistant coating to protect pipes and equipment where long corrosion protection is required. It is suitable for insulated and non insulated surfaces. It is available in light grey RAL7035 and Aluminium in a matt finish. Free delivery throughout the UK.

Surface Preparation.

Carbon Steel: Minimum St 2 , Recommended Abrasive blast clean to Sa 2.5. (ISO 8501-1).

Coated Surfaces: Ensure the existing coat is intact, compatible, withstands high temperatures, dry and free from oil grease and other contaminants.

Jotun Epoxy HR is a two pack, high solids phenolic epoxy coating with very good heat resistance up to 200c and can be applied direct to hot surfaces up to 150c.

Epoxy HR Heat Resistant  Paint is a matt heat resistant paint which can be used as a primer midcoat or a finish in atmospheric environments applied by Airless spray, Conventional spray or brush. It is prequalified to Norsok system 6.

Epoxy HR can be applied direct to carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium. It is recommended as corrosion protection for surfaces operating at elevated temperatures where long corrosion protection is required.

Epoxy HR Heat Resistant Paint is suitable for insulated and non insulated surfaces, pipes and vessels. It can be applied up to 200 microns in a single coat by airless spray, two coats may be required to achieve the recommended DFT by roller or brush.
