Hardtop CA a fast drying Acrylic Polyurethane Gloss finish, isocyanate free for Improved Safety when Spraying. It has been specially formulated on Acrylic Polyurethanes to reduce the risks to Health and Safety associated with spray application. It is free from isocyanates and produces a high gloss exterior durable gloss finish. It has excellent colour and gloss retention and may be applied by brush, roller or spray with good application properties and low dry spray. It is a fast drying high build high gloss finish which is touch dry in 2.5 hours. Hardtop CA is a two pack acrylic polyurethane topcoat recommended for use in atmospheric environments for application over two pack epoxy primers and intermediates. It can be applied up to 125 microns in a single coat by airless spray, two coats may be required to achieve the recommended DFT by brush or roller. It is suitable for harsh C5-M marine and heavy industrial environments and is prequalified for use in Norsok systems, Network Rail and Department of Transport specifications. A High Gloss Acrylic Polyurethane it is ideal as a topcoat for offshore environments, marine topside and superstructure, structural steel, construction products and agricultural equipment. Combined in a system with Penguard HSP ZP primer this high performance two coat system can be applied in 4.5 hours. A high performance two coat system with a DFT of up to 375 microns applied by airless spray, it is suitable for aggressive C5-M Coastal environments and Heavy Industrial applications. It is available in an extensive range of RAL and British standard colours in a high gloss finish in 5lt and 20lt packs, free delivery throughout the UK.

Hardtop CA is a two pack, high solids, isocyanate free acrylic topcoat in a gloss finish with excellent colour and gloss retention. It can be applied by Airless spray, Conventional spray, brush or roller. It has good application properties with low dry spray.Itis a two pack topcoat recommended for use in atmospheric environments for application over two pack eoxy primers and intermediates. An Isocyanate free Polyurethane it can be spray applied without the associated risks to health and safety. It is recommended for offshore environments, marine topside and superstructures, structural steel, building products, construction and agricultural equipment.
A High Gloss acrylic polyurethane with excellent outdoor durability and corrosion resistance it is used as a topcoat in many NORSOK systems. It can be applied up to 125 microns in a single coat by airless spray, two coats may be required to achieve the recommended DFT by brush or roller. It is heat resistant to continuous temperatures of up to 120°C. It is the safest gloss acrylic paint in the Jotun Hardtop range of two pack polyurethanes.
A large selection of topcoats are available for a wide range of applications. Hardtop Flexi is recommended as a one coat primer finish for process equipment. Hardtop HB produces a matt finish for architectural metalwork.
Hardtop AX is a fast drying gloss polyurethane while Hardtop XP is an alternative economic high gloss finish which is slower drying, better suited for brush application and less risk of dry spray when spraying large surface areas.
Hardtop CA is available in 5Lt and 20Lt packs including hardener and mixed in a ratio of 9 parts base to one part hardener by volume.
