Pioner Topcoat is a coating for the protection of steel and concrete in marine environments with very good colour retention and durability. Jotun Pioner topcoat is approved for use as the topcoat on Steelmaster Intumescent fire protection systems . It is available in a range of RAL and British standard colours in a semigloss finish.
Pioner Topcoat is a Marine grade single pack, fast air drying acrylic semigloss finish. It can be applied as a topcoat in atmospheric environments onto existing painted structures. Pioner Topcoat can be applied by Airless spray, Conventional spray, brush or roller. It has a low flame spread certificate and may be used as a topcoat in an Intumescent fire protection system.
Pioner Topcoat is a topcoat for Marine applications recommended for topside and superstructures, steel containers, modular buildings, construction equipment and building products. Pioner Topcoat may also be applied over zinc phosphate primers (Pilot QD) and most aged coatings. It can be applied up to 60 microns in a single coat by airless spray, two coats may be required to achieve the recommended DFT by brush or roller. It is resistant to continuous temperatures of up to 60°C
