Jotun Resist 86 Two Pack Inorganic Zinc Silicate Primer
Jotun Resist 86 high build fast drying two pack inorganic zinc silicate primer for steel with very high zinc content conforming to the requirements of SSPC paint 20, level 1. It provides excellent corrosion resistance on steel and is heat resistant up to 400c. It is suitable as a primer in aggressive C5-M marine environments and is prequalified for use in Norsok M-501, Rev 5, system 1. It has fast drying and handling properties for increased productivity. Resist 86 has high volume solids and high coverage rates. Available from stock in a grey matt finish. Free delivery throughout the UK.

Jotun Resist 86 Primer is a high solids, fast drying two pack zinc rich ethyl silicate primer with a high content of zinc that complies with the compositional requirements for SSPC Paint 20 level 1 and ISO 12944. Barrier is supplied with ASTM D520 Type II zinc dust.
Resist 86 Inorganic Zinc Silicate Primer is designed for new construction where fast dry to handle and overcoating times are required. It is suitable for use on steel to be exposed to highly corrosive C5M environments. It can be applied by Airless spray on abrasive blast cleaned steel. Resist 86 is prequalified in accordance with Norsok M501 System 1. It is resistant to continuous temperatures of up to 400°C
Resist 86 Inorganic Zinc Silicate is a two pack primer that provides excellent corrosion protection as part of a complete coating system suitable for use in atmospheric environments.It is recommended for offshore environments, structural steel, power plants, building products, construction and steel bridges. It can be applied up to 90 microns in a single coat by airless spray.
Overcoat with Penguard Tiecoat 100 to seal the surface and provide a key for subsequent high build epoxy coatings. Available from stock in a matt grey finish for free delivery throughout the UK.
