Hydrograff HP – is a High Performance waterbased two pack aliphatic polyurethane hard coating with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. It can be applied by Airless spray, brush or roller on steel, concrete, wood and plastics. It is an Antigraffiti coating available in high gloss and matt suitable for concrete or steel walls, available in both colour and clearcoats. Hydrograff HP is a two pack topcoat recommended for use in aggressive C5-M Coastal environments and can be applied over Elastometal, Monoguard, Elastoflex, Elastodeck and Metal Unicoat. It is recommended for environments requiring excellent mechanical, chemical and high UV resistance.  It may be used as a floor coating exposed to chemical spillage and regular cleaning,  approved for use in the food industry. It is ideal as a clearcoat on walls and steel structures in urban environments and warehouse buildings to highlight their architectural features and protect them from mechanical damage.  It can be applied up to 100 microns in a single coat by airless spray, two coats may be required to achieve the recommended DFT by brush or roller. Available in a range of gloss levels in RAL and NCS colours.

Surface Preparation

The surface must always be clean, degreased, and free of surface contamination. High pressure water blasting is recommended at 2600 psi to remove surface contaminants, loosely adhering paint and rust. Eco Powerclean a powerful biodegradable alkaline concentrate composed of anti-flash rust additives for cleaning and preparing walls and structures is recommended before painting. When high pressure water blasting up to 5% Eco Powerclean can be added to clean water to improve degreasing and temporarily protect the surface from flash rusting. It will significantly improve the corrosion protection on exposed metal surfaces and reduce cleaning times. At 5% dilution usage is 100m2 per litre. Hydrograff HP can be applied to most previously painted surfaces and direct and concrete, wood, and masonry. Application may be by spray, brush, or roller although you will need to apply more coats to achieve the minimum thickness required by brush or roller. A High Performance two pack waterbased Polyurethane Antigraffiti Coating. Ideal as an Easy Clean finish on walls in Public Buildings, Schools and Hospitals. Available in Clear.
