A fast drying and handling two pack anticorrosion epoxy primer for abrasive blast cleaned steel
Selemix Epoxy Primer 2.704.0400 is for abrasive blasted steel, metals and GRP. Selemix Epoxy primer is a matt finish available in a range of colours with good adhesion, abrasion and mechanical resistance. It is recommended as a primer in on abrasive blasted steel in C5-M environments.
Selemix Epoxy Primer is a two pack high build primer which can be applied wet on wet, reducing labour costs and production downtime. It is the preferred primer when applied onto abrasive blast cleaned steel. When used with Selemix Polyurethane or Selemix Acrylic topcoats it forms part of a system suitable for aggressive C5-M low environments. It is available in three stock colours or may be tinted in contrast with the topcoat colour. It can be applied by Airless spray or Conventional spray on a variety of substrates including steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel, light alloys and GRP. Selemix epoxy paint is ideal as a primer for Selemix Polyurethane and Selemix Acrylic topcoats when excellent chemical and weather resistance is required.
Selemix Epoxy Primer is a two pack sandable primer for corrosion protection in aggressive C5-M low rated environments for industrial & construction equipment, agricultural equipment, earthmoving equipment, building products and structural steel. It can be applied up to 80 microns dry film thickness in a single coat by airless spray or conventional spray equipment. It can be applied wet on wet allowing up to 15 mins flash off between coats. For ultra smooth finishing Selemix Epoxy Primer can be flatted after 1 hr force drying or after 24hrs at 20c and can be overcoated with Selemix topcoats after 2hrs.
