Teamac Metalcote Paint Enamel is a tough, flexible enamel paint with an attractive high gloss finish and excellent durability.

This coating has good resistance to lubricating and mineral oils, many common industrial chemicals and heat. It is recommended for ideal use on all types of machinery including tractors or any steel surface that requires a high gloss finish.

When applying the product to any surface you should make sure that all surfaces are clean, dry, sound and free of any contaminants.

For Existing painted surfaces you should clean, degrease and sand down the area to ensure that an adequate “key” is produced. Also, remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrates then prepare accordingly.

You can use a brush, roller or airless spray to apply the coating of Teamac Metalcote, if you are using either a brush or roller then the wet film thickness should be 85 microns and dry film thickness should be 35 to 40 microns. If you are using an airless spray, have the nozzle size at 0.011″ and pressure at 1800 to 2000 psi.

Teamac Metalcote Paint Enamel is a tough, flexible enamel paint with an attractive high gloss finish and excellent durability. It has good resistance to lubricating and mineral oils, many common industrial chemicals and heat.

Teamac Metalcote Paint Enamel is ideal for use on all types of machinery including tractors or any steel surface that requires a high gloss finish.

This coating is touch dry in 2 hours at a temperature of 20°C, hard dry in 8 hours at a temperature of 20°C and it will become fully hardened after 3 to 5 days at a temperature of 20°C.

All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free of any contaminants before applying the coating to the surface.

For existing painted surfaces, the area should be cleaned, degreased and sanded down to ensure an adequate “key is produced. Also, remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate then prepare accordingly.

Conditions for applying the product must also be considered as care must be taken during the application process, make sure the temperature is above dew point to avoid any contamination. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

A brush, roller or airless spray can be used to apply Teamac Metalcote Paint Enamel, if you are using a brush or roller then it is recommended that the wet film thickness is 85 microns per coat and a dry film thickness of 35 to 40 microns per coat. If you are using an airless spray then it is recommended that the nozzle size is 0.011″ and has a nozzle pressure of 1800 to 2000 psi.

The expected spreading rate of following these recommendations is 12 sq.m per litre.

It is available in a wide range of unique tractor colours in a gloss finish and in 5 litre pack sizes.

Surface Preparation
