Teamalak Yacht and Seaplane Varnish a High Quality Marine Varnish for Wood with excellent UV Resistance. Ideal for use on all surfaces where a high gloss, UV resistant finish is required, ideal for yacht woodwork and marine furniture. It can be used on interior or exterior woodwork and can also be used over existing paintwork to increase the gloss and build of the final finish. It can be applied directly to suitably prepared wood and multiple coats can be applied to build gloss and depth of finish on existing painted surfaces. This product is available in 2.5lt and 5lt pack sizes for free delivery throughout the UK to your home, workshop or boatyard.

Surface Preparation.
Coated Surfaces: Ensure the existing coat is intact, compatible, dry and free from oil grease and other contaminants.
Bare Wood should be sanded and free from surface contaminants.

Teamalak Yacht and Seaplane Varnish is a high gloss, high quality marine varnish with excellent UV resistance.
Teamalak Yacht and Seaplane Varnish is for use on all wood surfaces where a high gloss UV resistant finish is required, ideal for yacht woodwork and furniture. It can be used indoors and outdoors, and can also be used over existing paintwork to increase the gloss and depth of finish.
It can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray with a minimum overcoating time of 12 hours. The recommended wet film thickness is 70 microns to achieve a dry film thickness of 30 to 35 microns. It is touch dry within 6 hours at a temperature of 20°C.
Before applying this product make sure that all surfaces are clean, dry, sound and free from any contaminants. New wood or existing painted surfaces should be sanded prior to coating to ensure an adequate “key” is produced.
Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as a new substrate then prepare accordingly.
If you are applying Teamalak Yacht and Seaplane Varnish in a confined space then you should provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. This coating can be applied directly to suitably prepared wood and any subsequent coat must be the same product.
